Next build – A Tribute to Richard Harmer

I know why we model builders procrastinate to start building a model kit bought years ago…

The fear of messing it up. So this is why we sometime buy two or three more just in case…

I had bought this model kit in February 2018.

I just bought a second one on Amazon!

It is a good strategy. You won’t have any problems with a Tamiya kit though, they are the best engineered brand out there.

You said my P-61 was an old model kit, but it still looks great staring down at me every day!!

I just bought another one on Amazon. The price was right, and I could not resist the temptation.

It’s a great kit with an excellent cockpit. The only tricky parts are the fuselage in front of the pit (eliminating the join and keeping the recessed detail) and the wing join if you are modeling it with the wings extended. Both will be fine with careful fitting and gluing.
